Praise to the Lord

Magandang hapon po!!!

Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat!  Thank you very much for all of your letters and prayers and such!  Thanks for emailing Sister Casin, she really appreciates it too!  We’ve become good friends and we have been together a long time.  =)  We have learned and grown so much!
So, long story short, but I’m just SO grateful!!  It’s been speeding up as I ‘sprint to the finish’ (as Pres. Stucki counseled me to do)!  We didn’t make it to Palawan after all (we had some misunderstandings about the time to be there and we missed our plane), but the Lord used it as a powerful lesson to teach us about being on time, enduring to the end, and relying on the Atonement, as well as to become more humble!  It was a bit of a painful experience, but I’m SO grateful for it!  We both came to feel our Heavenly Father’s love and our faith grew in Him! The Atonement is SO real, and can heal things that we cannot!
More than ever, I am learning one truth: GOD IS IN CONTROL.  And when we rely on Him, all things work out!  I’m learning that “of my own strength, I am weak, therefore, I will not boast of myself, but I will boast in my God, for in His strength I can do ALL things!”  He has carried me through this past year and a half, and I have NOTHING to fear, HE will provide the way before me for the rest of my life, because I’m going to follow HIM with my all, and never give up or turn back!
I really am grateful for Sister Casin, she is an AMAZING missionary!  I have learned SO much as I have gotten to serve with her!  She has been quite patient and loving, and willing to explain things and help me learn.  In short, she has been an answer from Heavenly Father to my prayers – she is an angel, a messenger of Heavenly Father.  She really prays for others.  She has helped me very much!  I wish I could thank her and most of all Heavenly Father for everything that has happened in this last transfer, but anything I could do seems to be lacking still!  So, for the rest of my life, I will never cease to pray and never cease to be on the Lord’s errand!
One thing I have learned on this mission, is EACH day is a ‘spiritual fight’ against sin and to serve God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength.
Most of all, the BIGGEST, GREATEST thing that I have learned on my mission is this: God’s perfect, unfailing love.  He NEVER LEFT ME.  He ALWAYS provided the help and knowledge I need, and sent angels seen and unseen my way to help me see ‘things as they really are’ and be prepared for all things to come!  He EVER stands ready to help us if we will just follow HIM, humble ourselves, lay ‘our burden’ (however small or large, our causing or not) on the alter, and submit ourselves to Him in all things, HE HEALS us, and makes it ALL possible! (Mormon 7, esp. Mormon 6:17 =>  “O ye fair ones, how could ye have departed from the ways of the Lord! O ye fair ones, how could ye have rejected that Jesus, who stood with open arms to receive you!”)

And so, I just stand in more awe, and more humility at the GREAT mercy of our Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ.  They are SO united, and we must be united with them.  They promise to provide EVERYTHING that is needed if we will simply obey them in all things.
For me my goals are time and priority management. =)
God is #1, Family #2,. and Church #3…
One other thing I’m learning is BEING A MISSIONARY IS ALL ABOUT FAITH!
(Larisa, this is especially for you.)  Having enough energy, healing (spiritual or physical), miracles, hope, love, etc… ALL come as we pray in faith and act in faith!  IT IS JUST THAT SIMPLE.  “Look unto the great Mediator, and hearken unto His great commandmnets; and be faithful unto His words, and choose eternal life…” (2 Ne. 2:28).  And THAT is my only goal here on earth!
Because NOTHING means more to me than returning to Live with Heavenly Father forever with all those I love!  D&C 6:36; D&C 4:7; Alma 37:37
Miracles:
(1) SO many: God healed our hearts, inspired members, and one Sister worked with us yesterday…  I wish I could list them all, but I am out of time!
I will miss the people here, and the culture of family – people just help each other, a real spirit of Christ here!  It is SUCH a joy to represent our Savior in serving others!  I love the food here, and the atmosphere of being a missionary.  I’ll miss many things…but I’m grateful that Heavenly Father’s love is always inside me when I do my all to do HIS will.  =)  I’ll miss almost everything!!
Well, I bid thee fairwell, and I know that we shall meet again soon.  May Moroni 8:3 to all those I love here in the Philippines and there in America.  There will always be a special place in my heart, even a part of it, here in the Philippines and for the people here, even my Brothers and Sisters here.  They are SO kind, and Heaven just wouldn’t be the same without them!

I sure love you all!!! Mahal na mahal ko po kayo!!!
a forever servant in the Lord’s Vineyard,
(a life-long missionary)
Sister Hayden
see you soon!!!
